As I lay me down to sleep, my sanity from idiocy i pray thee keep

I have been a victim of idiocy at work. For the last two weeks I have been discussing purchasing Linux kit from our IT partner as they said they supported it. Now they say they say they do not support Linux. So, I am now stuck with buying Sun boxes. Which have a 6 week lead time to order and cost 4 times the price for the hardware.

Jeez, and to think that the guy who said they do support Linux was from Architecture and Engineering! Damn fool.

On a positive note though I have been paid, and my expense claim has been paid. Excellent news.
