Off to the UK
Morning all - just a quick note to say that I am off to London today and will be back in AMS tomorrow.
Various Updates:
-- Joined the gym near my house. Very gay, so safe times to work out are 7am and 10pm as there is no bugger about. Literallly
-- Getting through the painting of my WH40K Emporers Children army, but I am having problems with streaks on the tanks. Wahj - any helpful hints? I have watered the paint right down, and also tried thick.
Thats all for now

I presume the streaks you're talking about are scrape marks, or dirt marks/weathering?
I usually use an old flat brush (one that has frayed) and very dry paint. Streak from front to back. You can test the effect (a piece of cardboard works fine) before you implement it.
Alternatively (and this will hurt) I actually score in the scrape marks on some of my tanks with a file (needle file, triangular cross-section), run diluted black paint or ink into them. For really major scrape marks, put a very thin line of silver down the middle, so it looks like the paint got scraped off down to the metal. Since this involves controlled damage to a very expensive model, you might want to think twice about it, and just go with the paint brush. I've only done this with cheap T-34s kits.
You can see an example of the second method on this Sherman that I built some time back.
