Rental Property - done

It is said by the wise and overpaid that moving house is one of the most stressful activities that you can do. It ranks with divorce and death. Seriously, people have heart attacks because of the stress. They move house physically and spiritually. However, I am finding it all somewhat stressless. To clarify - the money stresses me. The deposit is a bitch. I hate paying agents thousands of euros for basically spending 3 hours in my company showing me houses. But, I rest easy in the knowledge that eventually it will all be over. I will have my dream house, and I did manage to negotiate a 10% reduction in the rent. All in all I am happy. I have also signed the agreement and kanga and I have a house ready for us to move into mid december.

I feel like videoing the place because it is a dream find. Admittedly - of the apartments I was shown this was the most expensive, and is in a fairly nice part of town. We could have saved 850 euros a month and lived in a dive, but I fell in love with the place. I want visitors to come over so that I can show the house to people - all you friends reading this, take that as an open invite to come to Amsterdam, city of the Libertines. Come see our house.

Knowing my luck after crowing like this the whole thing will fall through.....
