Aargh - Exchange Rates

God almighty - S$3.09 to 1 pound. its not funny. I have $20 left in my account after the following:

20 quid taxi from work to hotel
10 quid taxi from hotel to dinner
60 quid dinner (including 3 glasses of wine)
20 quid at the pub
20 quid taxi to hotel (traffic traffic traffic!)
10 quid lunch
19 quid train

That is a staggering 159 Quid or S$419. One day. Shit. Withdrew other money for hotel as well - so in total got through 1200 bucks.

Ouch

Insane to do conversions...unfortunate you're not getting the moolah in pounds. If I did conversions on all the things I bought, everything would seem brutally expensive...Anyways, I thought the Euro was bad...but the pound sucks.

Tell me if you stop by Paris. We have an apartment in town, and a military camp bed...(I'm the cousin of Tym BTW, I ate at your place one night).

Looks like it is time to get paid in Pounds or Euros. Sing dollars are clearly not going to do the job.

Thansk for the offer - I doubt I will be in gay paris this time - but next time I will try to plan to drop down!

BTW - I remember the dinner well!
